Signature moves
In the 2023 tag title match, Shimizu caught Maori Kawashima in Marshmallow Hedgehog, a hold he had not used for years. Against Jun Ogawauchi in 2015, he won with a spinebuster followed by two consecutive Double Atomic Bombs Away.

His signature moves include Marshmallow Hedgehog, Neck Romantic, Agnea and Chemical Clutch.[6]
Beyond the ropes.
His official profile lists exploring the occult as an interest. His blog, “Ogonkyo no Kaze,” also offers his own reflections on matches and events.[6][5]
When announcing Kingo Yamashita’s 2016 debut, he explained his trust in trainer Takeshi Minamino’s judgement. Shimizu also wrestled in that debut, helping mark Yamashita’s late start in the ring.[22]
The road to SECRET BASE
2000 · MÉXICO
闘龍門
A third-generation Toryumon trainee, Shimizu debuted in Mexico against Kenichiro Arai on 26 February 2000.
Alongside wrestling, he worked behind the scenes and as a ring announcer. His career took him both into the ring and into the work supporting it.

2006–2008
El Dorado
El Dorado became one of his stages after his return. He repeatedly faced Manjimaru; on 22 February 2007, the two held their own event, Shimizu–Manji Night.
When El Dorado ended in December 2008, Shimizu became a freelancer. The following month brought SECRET BASE, built around former El Dorado wrestlers.

2009 —
SECRET BASE
He founded SECRET BASE in 2009. While putting on its shows, Shimizu continued to wrestle for championships, including a tag title reign with Men’s Teioh. After the 2023 show, he wrote about strengthening a home wrestlers could return to after time away.
Those Toryumon relationships still feature in his shows. Susumu Yokosuka, Ryo Saito and Masaaki Mochizuki were among those who gathered for SECRET BASE’s final Shinjuku FACE event in 2026. Shimizu reflected on the reunion in his blog afterwards.

Against Jun Ogawauchi, he withstood the champion’s attack and hit his finishing move twice to win the singles title. After debuting in Mexico, he has continued to compete for championships in SECRET BASE, the promotion he founded.
Teaming with Amigo Suzuki in a 2023 tag title match, Shimizu caught Maori Kawashima in Marshmallow Hedgehog. He had created the hold by adapting a favourite move when he was first learning lucha holds. In his blog after the show, he recalled using it for the first time in years. A move born more than 20 years earlier secured the belts from HANAOKA and Kawashima.
In 2015, Shimizu withstood Jun Ogawauchi’s attack and turned the match around to win the singles title. Ogawauchi attacked his joints and hit moves including a diving knee drop and Riot, but Shimizu kicked out at two. He responded with a spinebuster and two consecutive Double Atomic Bombs Away to become the fourth champion.

That ring has also introduced new wrestlers. When Kingo Yamashita’s debut was announced in 2016, Shimizu spoke of his trust in Takeshi Minamino, who had been training him. Shimizu then teamed with Minamino against Amigo Suzuki and Yamashita.
Eight years later, the two entered a tag championship decider as partners. Shimizu’s Medusa Head secured the win over Noriyuki Yoshida and Amigo Suzuki.
