Beyond the ropes.
Before her 2021 return, she welcomed teaming with Bambi, usually an opponent, and spoke of a rematch with Nakamori and meeting Ozora for the first time. Those relationships give the return match its context.[4]
The matches. The story behind them.
Welcoming a partnership with Bambi
Before her return, Shiori Akiba spoke of her delight at teaming with Bambi, usually an opponent. Her first match in roughly two and a half years came at Shinjuku FACE in 2021, against Hanako Nakamori and Chie Ozora. She wanted revenge against Nakamori and looked forward to facing Ozora for the first time.

Reuniting with Kyuuri, with rotation at the heart of her moves
She also had the chance to team again with a partner from her Ice Ribbon days. In 2025, she appeared in Kyuuri’s twelfth-anniversary match. The two had wrestled together in Akiba’s final Ice Ribbon match in 2014; now they shared a corner once more.
Akiba’s own debut was against Yuuka at Korakuen Hall. After amateur pro wrestling and a spell as a trainee, she used flying headscissors and huracanranas in her very first match. Moves that rotate an opponent’s body remain among her signature techniques.
Her original Arcen Ciel (アルカンシェル) links a round-off to a jumping stunner. Aerial attacks from the corner can also finish her matches: at Shinjuku FACE in 2026, a Swanton Bomb secured the three-count over Gakinyan Kamen.
